Short Description:
During the construction of Lötschberg gallery, a branch of Alptransit Swiss confederation project, the construction of a cut-and-cover tunnel to protect the main street from avalanches has been monitored.
Aims of monitoring:
The aims were to better understand the tunnel vault behaviour during the recovering to be compared to theoretical hypotheses.
